Once your date is reserved, we'll connect to start chatting about possible locations for your session. We generally recommend choosing one location and if it's a place you haven't been before, it might be helpful to visit during the time our session will take place.
That way you have an idea of the light, crowds, closing time, etc! If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let us know because we would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your aesthetic!

On the day of your session, we'll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it's going to corporate. We'll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about two hours from start to finish.

All images from our sessions are typically delivered within about two weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.
Your gallery will remain active for six weeks.

THE Portrait PROCESS ++ Capturing beautiful memories
We’re big believers that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured.
Think about this fact: fifteen years ago, if we had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a floppy disk. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today. Even the online galleries we deliver will eventually fade away.
One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.
THE PERFECT WAY TO REMEMBER YOUR WEDDING DAY
Heirloom Albums
After we deliver your gallery, we'll work with you to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

Wedding albums are available a la carte or as part of your wedding collection.
Some dads will start out a session in a sour mood from kids at witching hour, being exhausted from work or having to skip Sunday night football. Just get him there and I'll get him to love the playful & snuggly process. I’m quick, efficient and dads love me! Not to mention the finished portraits always win dads over.
HOW DO I GET MY SPOUSE TO COOPERATE?
Family sessions typically last 45 to 90 minutes. We spend a bit of time getting to know each other and then we get straight to it. I get posed and candid photos. I chase authentic expressions. No need to “CHEESE” with me! I work hard to make my sessions feel like play and you might forget the camera is there.
HOW LONG ARE PORTRAIT SESSIONS?
You probably will look fine. Personally, I want to see the fiercest version of you. I have a list of vendors I trust to take you to natural beauty or full glam. These portraits could be up on your walls for decades! You want them to make you feel fabulous, while you're waltzing by in a messy bun and sweatpants.
I DON'T REALLY WEAR MAKEUP. BUT I'LL LOOK FINE, RIGHT?
After your session, you will receive 60+ hand edited proofs in an online gallery. Keep in mind these are just proofs, not downloadable files. You have the option to purchase all of your digitals but I love when we take the time to create family heirlooms with your images. I design wall galleries and albums upon request.
