I photograph your family the same way I photograph my own: with understanding, honesty, and a deep respect for the season we’re living in right now. I’m the one who notices the way your toddler reaches for your hand, the way your oldest stands a little taller these days, and the way a weight lifts off your shoulders when someone else finally steps in to take the photos for you for once.
I’ve walked through parenthood long enough to know how quickly everything shifts. My job is to help you step into the frame with confidence, feel taken care of, and walk away with portraits that feel like your real life. I want this experience to take something off your plate instead of adding more to it.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
U.S. STATES VISITED
FAMILIES DOCUMENTED
Portraits are a way to remember a season you were too busy living to fully see.
PARENTHOOD moves TOO fast. Life moves TOO fast. You pour yourself into your people and suddenly years have gone by.
portraits hold the proof of who you were, how deeply you loved, and the sweetness of a chapter you might have missed while doing everything for everyone else.
One of my superpowers is making PEOPLE feel comfortable enough be vulnerable even with a camera present.
Comfortable enough to be themselves, laugh a little too loud, and let loose. I never AIM for fake smiles or stiff poses.
What I want is the real connection between you and your people. Just honest, relaxed moments that feel like you.
What I love most are the tiny moments THAT you, as a mama, don’t even see in the rush of everyday life. The way your baby reaches for you without thinking. The way your husband watches you when you’re helping the kids. The way your teen leans into your hug before they remember to act aloof. These are the pieces of your story that disappear unless someone who cares enough documents them for you. I'D BE HONORED TO BE THAT PERSON FOR YOU.
Even though I document my family plenty, I still make sure to have a photographer buddy take our family portraits at least once a year. I truly practice what I preach because I’ve felt how quickly these short seasons fade away. Some years, portraits feel effortless. Other times, getting everyone out the door is the best I can do. But we show up, we laugh through the chaos, and I never regret it once I see the finished product.
We all deserve to be documented.
We all deserve to leave behind a legacy we’re proud of.

I was bracing myself for a tough session. We showed up tired after a swim meet but somehow Kristine was able to shift the mood. She got on their level, made them laugh, and turned the whole experience into something fun. Our gallery is full of beautiful moments which still amazes me considering how the day started. She's magic with particularly one of a kind kiddos.
"Kristine won over our kids so fast!"
"She makes being on camera feel easy."

I usually hide behind the camera, or at the very least behind one of my kids in group photos, but Kristine made being in front of the camera feel safe and actually fun. She dressed us, guided us, and somehow kept everything from feeling awkward. For the first time, I honestly love the photos I’m in. Not just the ones of my kids. That’s the real gift.

My husband said, "That was so easy."
My guy normally dreads family photo day, like full-body-eye-roll dreads them. But Kristine had him laughing right away. Nothing felt forced or awkward. She has this way of making everyone relax and forget they’re being photographed. Our big kids humored her too, which made everything feel easy. These are our first photos where everyone looks like themselves and likes the final photos.
